Stockholm is vast and its history is softly infused in the landmarks that stretch across the Baltic Sea. The capital’s architecture – and art – is brimming with significance. From Vaxholm Fortress, built by Russian prisoners (and used as the filming location of Pippi) to the royal palaces of Kungliga Slottet and Drottningholms Slott.
From the charmingly ancient streets of Gamla Stan and Riddarholmen Church (the oldest building in Stockholm) to the new residential towers in concrete that pinch the sky. Anything interesting in terms of architecture is here. If you find any mistakes, or have any suggestions please let me know in the comments. My intention is to keep it useful. Hope you enjoy!

Hi, Virginia. I don’t know Stockholm although my will is immense. For now I can’t travel, I’m in the final stage of cancer treatment and fortunately, it’s okay. When everything is clearer to me, I will plan a trip, who knows to finally meet Stockholm. My hug.
