Stockholm is vast and its history is softly infused in the landmarks that stretch across the Baltic Sea. The capital’s architecture – and art – is brimming with significance. From Vaxholm Fortress, built by Russian prisoners (and used as the filming location of Pippi) to the royal palaces of Kungliga Slottet and Drottningholms Slott.
From the charmingly ancient streets of Gamla Stan and Riddarholmen Church (the oldest building in Stockholm) to the new residential towers in concrete that pinch the sky. Anything interesting in terms of architecture is here. If you find any mistakes, or have any suggestions please let me know in the comments. My intention is to keep it useful. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks to you for appreciating! Have you been to Stockholm? or are planning to maybe?
Hi, Virginia. I don’t know Stockholm although my will is immense. For now I can’t travel, I’m in the final stage of cancer treatment and fortunately, it’s okay. When everything is clearer to me, I will plan a trip, who knows to finally meet Stockholm. My hug.
Sorry to read this. My best wishes for your recovery, I hope this post made you travel in spirit and the map provides inspiration for the future trip to Stockholm 🙂 Lots of love to you from London
Thank you very much. I’m fine, the follow-up exams reveal that and soon I can travel again. I know London and it is a city that inhabits my best memories and longing. lots of love to you from Porto Alegre, Brazil.
