Vietnam’s emerging architecture can be best seen in Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi, two beautiful cities that I explored in 2016. Because the capital is experiencing so much growth, I’ll be updating this map constantly with its new structures. This guide covers everything interesting in terms of architecture. If you find any mistakes, or have any suggestions please let me know in the comments. My intention is to keep it useful. Hope you enjoy!

A very comprehensive guide! I would like to add the newest skyscraper, the Landmark 81, to this list 🙂 Completed last year, Landmark 81 surpasses the Petronas Towers in term of height, making it the tallest building in Southeast Asia.

Hello Len 🖐🏻 Thanks for stopping by. I think that one is on the list, maybe I put it in the wrong location?
Any favourite places of Hi Chi Minh?

My mistake 😛 It’s in Zone 4 but I didn’t see it. Well, I think the Secret Garden and the old-style cafes in Nguyen Hue Street are my favourites.

Ahhh the Secret Garden, I loved that little heaven 🙂 Also the Vietnamese coffee 👌🏼
Any other foods you recommend besides Pho?

Hm… i would say broken rice with grilled meat, slowly braised pork belly and the Vietnamese baguette. Those three are my favourites. But honestly the option is endless. It all depends on mood and season 🙂

Now I want to go back and try all those amazing things you mentioned 🙂 I wasn’t aware of the Vietnamese baguette, had to Google that.

I lived there briefly when I was a child and it was still called Saïgon. 🙂
Buen fin.

Really? That’s exciting. Any memories about the food? I am sure you still appreciate some of the local cuisine.

Oh, I am a fan of Chinese/Vietnamese cuisine. Had lots of training as a child. And also as a student. Vietnamese restaurants were always cheaper and with great food. 🙂
Bonita semana Virginia.
