Bangkok is all about amazing food, rooftops and temples (don’t miss the biggest reclining Buddha in the world). If you know where to look, it can truly be a cultural immersion so hopefully this guide would be a handy tool to prepare your amazing trip to Thailand. Everything interesting in terms of architecture is here, both old and contemporary. If you find any mistakes, or have any suggestions please let me know. My intention is to keep it useful. Hope you enjoy!

Great trip overall but I think a day trip to Ayutthaya to see the ruins and Summer Palace was a highlight. Very different from being in the city.

Completely agree! It was like a different thing. I missed the floating market though which was meant to be really good.

We did go to one but it wasn’t spectacular. We went following a trip to the royal barge museum which to me was better.

This makes me feel better because everyone said that I missed such a cool place. Have you visited other parts of Thailand like Chiang Mai?

Unfortunately no, but I have a friend who recommends it highly

Hi Virginia, I have an idea for you. I have two posts on my blog regarding things to do in Bangkok. They are at these two URLs: https://livinthelifeinla.com/2017/02/03/things-to-do-in-bangkok-visit-the-queen-sirikit-museum-of-textiles/ and https://livinthelifeinla.com/2017/03/15/things-to-do-in-bangkok-find-design-inspiration-at-two-historic-thai-house-museums/. If you’re agreeable, I would like to update both of those posts to point to your architecture guide so you will need to approve the pingback. Would you agree, and would you also link back to my two posts?

I just checked your posts, both are really good 🙂
Unfortunately, this post is very short and I’ve already linked some of my own content to keywords leaving little room for any additional links. However, for future guides I am open to link to your beautiful content!

That sounds good! I’ve only been once but it was intense. Do you like architecture in Asia? I think is so impressive, especially religious architecture.

Absolutely love it, architecture is one of the most impressive achievement for mankind. Without architecture there will be no proper shelter. Oh ya religion architecture such as Hindu and Buddhism are extremely details, totally love it.
