Ibiza, part of the dreamy Balearic Islands in Spain, began as a port town, founded by Phoenician settlers in 654 BC. Its rich past includes not only the Phoenicians, but also the Romans, Arabs, and Spanish. Isolation and a lack of trade through much of history meant the island’s architecture, culture and habits remained unique. More recently, a bohemian crowd has added another dimension to the artistic side of the island.
Unlike my other architecture maps, this is a complete map of the island. It includes buildings (a few beautiful churches and a museum), restaurants, beaches and stunning photography points. If you want to have a peek at some of these pictures click here. If you find any mistakes, or have any suggestions please let me know, my intention is to keep it useful. Hope you enjoy!

Wonderful research.
I have just been learning about Posse http://posse.com/ . Can’t thinking that your detailed guides would be good on something similar. What do you think?

This is such a great discovery! Besides loving the web itself, it is indeed really useful! Right now this map thing is just a hobby, however, I would love to do something with it in the future (maybe when I finish my thesis…?). So ideas like this one are really inspiring to me. Thanks so much for sharing :)))

Your ‘maps’ are so detailed, so it could be a really good project to find an app for them one day. In the meantime, the thesis is the priority I am sure 🙂

I keep dreaming with finding an app for the maps one day. It’s being kind of difficult finishing my architecture thesis. But without that I will get no degree. I am designing a dance center for the thesis by the way 🙂
